Easy Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 32-ounce can cling peach halves, drained (reserve syrup)
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup vinegar
    1 teaspoon allspice
    1 teaspoon whole cloves
Preparation
    Mix peach syrup, brown sugar, and spices in a saucepan and bring to boil.
    Add peaches and cool.
    Refrigerate for 24 hours, serve cold.
    Yields 1 quart.
