Old-Fashioned Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
5 tsp. flour
2 large cans Pet milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Sift together dry ingredients.
Add milk gradually; cook over medium heat in a thick-bottomed pot, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
Add butter and vanilla.
Cool and spread on cake.
