Barbecue Sauce For Chicken And Pork - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 thick piece lemon
1 sliced medium onion
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. catsup
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 to 1/2 c. bourbon or cooking wine
Preparation

Mix first 10 ingredients in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil and then simmer 20 minutes, uncovered.
Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.
Remove from heat.
Pour this sauce over the meat being prepared and cover it with foil.
Cook slowly, basting a few times, until meat is tender.
