Cheese Yorkshire Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. bacon or roast drippings
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. finely grated Gruyere cheese
Preparation
    Beat the eggs in a medium mixing bowl until very thick and lemon colored.
    Add the milk gradually, then add the bacon drippings and blend thoroughly.
    Add the flour and salt gradually and beat until smooth.
    Fold in half the cheese.
    Pour into a well-greased 1-quart baking dish.
    Then sprinkle the remaining cheese over top.
    Bake in a preheated 450\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve immediately.
    This makes 4 to 6 servings.
