Aunt Frances' Orange Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Dash salt
1 c. orange juice
2 tsp. orange peel, grated
Preparation

Cream butter, crisco, and sugar together.
Add eggs, one at a time, until well blended.
Sift flour,
baking powder, and salt together.
Add dry mixture alternately with orange juice to creamed mixture.
Add grated orange peel.
Put in greased and floured tube pan.
Start in cold oven.
Turn to 325\u00b0.
Bake 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Remove from pan immediately after taking out of oven.
Poke holes in top.
