Spanish Style Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 pieces chicken
    salt and pepper
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. chopped bacon
    2 chopped onions
    several cloves garlic, chopped or crushed
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    3 c. water with 5 tsp. chicken bouillon
    1 bay leaf
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, drained
    1/4 tsp. saffron or 1/4 tsp. turmeric
    plenty of black pepper
    1 tsp. paprika
Preparation
    Pat
    chicken
    quite
    dry.
    Season
    with salt and pepper. Heat oil
    and
    fry chicken until golden brown; remove chicken. Add bacon and cook 1 minute; add onion, garlic and peppers and cook until tender.
    Add
    rice
    to
    pan (more oil as necessary); add paprika, cayenne
    and
    black pepper and toss rice well over moderate heat until coated with vegetables mixture.
    Add stock, bay leaf, saffron or turmeric, tomatoes and chicken;
    season to taste.
    Bring
    to boil; cover, turn down heat and simmer for 35 to 40 minutes.
