Individual Olive Salads - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. whole ripe olives
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. onion salt
2 tsp. mild mustard
salad greens
4 tsp. plain gelatin
2 Tbsp. cold water
1 c. grated carrots
1 c. diced apples/peaches
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. horseradish
1 c. mayonnaise
Preparation

Slice
olives
from pits.
Combine vinegar, sugar, salt and bring to
a
boil.\tRemove\tfrom
heat and add to gelatin. Moisten in\twater and stir to dissolve.
Pour hot mixture over beaten eggs,
stirring
briskly.
Add
horseradish,
mustard, onion salt, lemon juice, carrots, fresh fruit and olives. Stir to blend.
Cool until thick but not firm.\tAdd mayonnaise and stir.
Pour into individual molds.
Chill until firm and serve on salad greens.
