Ginger-Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or lard
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. ginger
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Cream molasses, sugar and butter.
    Add eggs.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
    Add boiling water with soda last.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven until done.
