Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef chuck steak, cut in thin strips
    1/4 c. oil
    1 c. bell pepper, chopped
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    2 tomatoes, chopped
Preparation
    Brown beef in hot oil. Add garlic; simmer. Add soy sauce, salt, and water; cook 45 minutes. Add vegetables. Cook for 10 minutes. Blend 1 c. water and cornstarch; add and stir. Add tomatoes; cook 5 minutes. Serve over rice. 4 servings.
