Crock-Pot French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    6 to 8 onions, thinly sliced
    4 (10 1/2 oz.) cans condensed beef broth
    1 soup can water
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook onions in butter until tender (about 20 minutes).
    Put into crock-pot; add remaining ingredients.
    Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
    Top individual bowls with Swiss or Mozzarella cheese and broil until cheese is melted or Parmesan cheese may be sprinkled on soup before serving.
    Makes 10 to 12 servings.
