Pumpkin Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    2 c. pumpkin puree
    4 c. chicken stock
    1 bay leaf
    pinch of sugar
    pinch of nutmeg
    1/3 Tbsp. curry powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. light cream
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat.
    Add onion and garlic.
    Saute until soft and translucent (8 minutes).
    Add pumpkin and stock.
    Stir well to mix.
    Add bay leaf, sugar, curry and nutmeg.
    Bring to boil, lower to simmer and cook for 30 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Remove from heat.
    Add cream. Return to heat.
    Bring soup to hot, but do not simmer.
    Serve hot.
