Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large bunches broccoli
    1 c. raisins
    1/2 small purple onion
    1 lb. crisp fried bacon
    1 c. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. white vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Wash and cut off tips of broccoli; drain.
    Peel, wash and dice the onion.
    Add raisins.
    Crumble up bacon.
    All of these ingredients should be in a large bowl.
    Marinate 24 hours in mixture of mayonnaise, white vinegar and sugar.
    Mix and pour over salad.
    Cover and refrigerate.
