Yellow Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    yellow summer squash
    2 small onions
    1/4 c. canning salt
Preparation
    Wash squash and cut into thin slices.
    Peel onions into thin slices (very thin).
    Cover squash and onions with water and add salt.
    Let stand 2 hours and drain.
    Add to the following mixture and heat.
