Creamy Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. raw peanuts
3 c. sugar
1 c. Karo
1/2 c. water
1 stick oleo
1 Tbsp. vanilla
dash of salt
red food coloring, if desired

Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except oleo and vanilla.
Boil 7 minutes.
Add oleo and vanilla; beat by hand to right consistency. Drop or pour out on buttered cookie sheet and break apart.
