Evergreen Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 pkg. Kool-Aid (lime)
    2 qt. water
    1 (46 oz.) pineapple juice
    1 qt. ginger ale
    1 qt. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Mix first 4 ingredients together.
    Add ginger ale just before serving.
    Cool.
    Put in punch bowl and add ice cream.
