Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    2 large boxes vanilla instant pudding
    2 large cans crushed pineapple
    2 cans cherry pie filling
    1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Bake cake mix by directions on box; cool.
    Mix pudding as directed but use 1 cup less milk.
    In punch bowl crumble half of cake.
    Put 1/2 of pudding on cake.
    Drain pineapple.
    Put 1 can on pudding.
    Put 1 can cherry pie filling on pineapple, then 1/2 of Cool Whip on cherry pie filling and sprinkle 1/2 of nuts on Cool Whip.
    Repeat!
