Hot Milk Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 c flour
    2 c sugar
    2 t vanilla
    1 c hot milk
    2 t baking powder
    2 t melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Beat eggs until thick and creamy; add sugar gradually, then vanilla.
    Fold in all the sifted flour and baking powder, then add hot milk and melted butter. Pour into greased and floured pan. If making as layer cake, bake for 25-30 minutes, if baking in tube pan, bake for 40-45 minutes.
