Egg And Grits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1 can whole potatoes, sliced or sliced raw potatoes
    4 eggs
    4 pkg. instant grits
    4 slices American Deluxe cheese
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 chopped onion
Preparation
    Slice potatoes and layer in a 9 x 13-inch pan; sprinkle with onion.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven while browning sausage on top of stove.
    Sprinkle browned sausage on top of potatoes; set aside. In a large pan, empty grits and add enough water to make them creamy (not runny); bring to a boil while stirring constantly. Remove grits from heat.
    Beat eggs with milk and add to grits along with the cheese and butter.
    Stir until melted.
    Pour egg grit mixture over potato sausage mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes, until eggs set.
    Serve with fruit or juice.
