Savory Herb-And-Garlic Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pork loin chops (1 1/2 lb.)
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. herbal salt substitute (optional)
    1/2 tsp. ground coriander
    1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
    1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
    1 c. unsweetened applesauce
    1 c. braised red cabbage
    2 baking potatoes
Preparation
    Place the chops in the freezer until partially frozen, about 20 minutes.
    Trim off all visible fat.
    In a cup, combine the garlic, cumin, salt substitute, coriander, red pepper and black pepper.
    Spread the mixture thickly on both sides of the chops. Place on a plate.
    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 2 to 8 hours.
