Potato Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yeast or 1 dry pkg.
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1 c. scalded milk
    1 c. mashed potatoes
    6 to 8 c. flour
    2/3 c shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Add shortening, sugar and salt to scalded milk.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Add yeast to milk mixture.
    Add beaten egg to mashed potatoes and stir into milk mixture.
    Mix in flour until you have a soft dough.
