Chili Rellenos Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter (1/2 stick)
    2 (7 oz.) cans diced green chiles
    1 lb. Jack cheese, shredded (I use the Mexican shredded cheese; optional)
    1 c. buttermilk baking mix (such as Bisquick)
    3 eggs
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    In a 13 x 9-inch baking dish, melt butter.
    Sprinkle chiles over butter.
    Spread cheese over chiles.
    In a bowl, mix buttermilk baking mix, eggs, salt and milk.
    Pour over cheese. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown on top.
