Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 2 1/2 c. mushroom gravy
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Prepare the patties by combining the ground beef, onion, green peppers, bread crumbs and salt and pepper to taste. Shape into 4 oval patties; fry until golden brown. In the drippings, make the gravy and simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
