No-Fail Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    2 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    1 slightly beaten egg
    2 tsp. vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and shortening.
    Chop fine.
    Beat egg in same cup shortening has been measured and add vinegar to the egg. Fill with cold water to make 1 cup.
    Add all 3 to flour mixture and combine using hands.
    Makes 3 (2-crust) pies.
