Chocolate Pecan Brownies - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine butter and chocolate in top of double boiler; bring water to boil.
Reduce heat to low and cook until the chocolate melts.
