Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large eggs, beaten
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 lb. glazed pineapple
    3/4 lb. glazed cherries
    1 c. pecans
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1/2 oz. vanilla
    1/2 oz. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter and
    sugar well.
    Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well.
    Sift
    flour
    and
    baking powder together.
    Chop nuts and fruit; mix
    with
    some of the flour.
    Fold flour into butter mixture; add flavorings and mix well.
    Fold in nuts and fruit. Bake in
    greased
    tube pan.
    Start in cool oven.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
