Grandma'S Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    1 large can evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    dash of salt
    enough whole milk to fill 4-qt. freezer
Preparation
    Beat eggs and sugar well.
    Add evaporated milk, vanilla and salt.
    Beat well.
    Pour mixture into a 4-quart freezer.
    Add whole milk to fill line of freezer.
    Ice cream consistency is better if using a hand-crank freezer.
