Custard Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk, scalded
    1 c. bread, cubed
    1/4 tsp. salt
    5 eggs
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Add salt and sugar to milk.
    Pour over bread.
    Beat eggs, vanilla and margarine.
    Mix well.
    Pour into 1 1/2-quart greased casserole dish.
    Place in another dish with hot water 1-inch from the top.
    Bake 60 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
