Oven Round Steak Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak, 1-inch thick, cut into serving pieces
    6 medium onions, sliced
    1/4 c. fat
    3 large potatoes, halved
    1 bay leaf
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1 lb. can (2 c.) French cut green beans
Preparation
    Season meat with 2 teaspoons salt and dash pepper.
    Roll in flour.
    Cook onions in hot fat until tender but not brown; remove onions and brown meat slowly on both sides.
    Place meat in 3-quart casserole, add onions, potatoes and bay leaf; pour soup over. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
    Add beans; cook 10 to 15 minutes more.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
