Baked Beans And Sausage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. smoked kielbasa (Polish sausage)
    3 cans pork and beans in tomato sauce (16 oz.; I use Tops brand)
    1 (3 lb.) can Grandma Brown's baked beans
    1 onion, chopped
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. catsup
    6 strips bacon (optional for garnish)
Preparation
    Cut sausage in 1/2-inch pieces.
    Saute, part at a time, in large skillet until lightly browned.
    Remove to a paper towel. Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    In large bowl mix beans, onions, brown sugar and catsup, stirring thoroughly to combine.
    Stir in sausage.
    Divide between 2 to 3-quart casseroles or 1 large casserole dish.
    Lay pieces of bacon on top of bean mixture (if desired).
    Bake for 2 hours at 300\u00b0 or until mixture is thick.
