Violet'S Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 stick margarine
    3 1/2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, sugar and soda.
    Bring to a boil the margarine, syrup, water and Crisco. Mix together the buttermilk, eggs and vanilla and add.
    Mix all ingredients until smooth.
    Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 until done.
    Cover cake with glaze while it is still warm.
