Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/4 c. sugar for topping
    Berries
    Whipping cream
Preparation
    Mix first 7 ingredients together lightly. Pour thick batter into 8 x 10, or 9 x 9, inch pan. Sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar on top. Bake until brown in 375\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes. Serve warm with berries and whipped cream.
