Quick And Easy Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 c. milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 to 4 c. any sliced fruit or berries
Preparation
    Melt butter in 8 or 9-inch pan or casserole dish.
    Mix sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
    Pour batter over butter in the pan.
    Do not mix.
    Spread fruit over batter.
    Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serve warm with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
