French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans consomme
    2 cans water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    3 lb. onions
    1/2 c. dry wine
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter.
    Add consomme and water.
    Add wine and sugar.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
    When done, cover with croutons.
