Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped popcorn
    1 pkg. peanuts
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 c. oleo
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. maple flavoring (optional)
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Put the 6 quarts of popped popcorn in a large roaster.
    Stir in peanuts, if desired.
    Boil for 5 minutes: packed brown sugar, oleo, salt, corn syrup and optional maple flavoring.
    Remove from heat.
    Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to mixture.
    This will make it foamy.
    Pour over popped corn and mix well.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
    Do not let it get too brown. Dump on waxed or brown paper to cool.
