Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. baking soda
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/3 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda into bowl. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make well in center; add buttermilk, all at once.
    Stir quickly with fork just until dough follows fork around the bowl.
