Chocolate Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. Food Lion plain flour
3 1/2 c. Food Lion sugar
1/2 c. Food Lion cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening and 2 sticks butter or 3 sticks margarine (I use 3 sticks Food Lion brand butter)
1 1/4 c. Food Lion milk
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla flavor
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar and add eggs one at a time.
Sift dry ingredients.
Add baking powder and salt to dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.
Add vanilla and cocoa (I sift the cocoa before putting in cake).
Cook in greased and floured pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 minutes in tube pan.
Makes 16 or 17 servings.
