Whole Wheat Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. lard or 2/3 c. vegetable shortening
    about 1/3 c. ice water
Preparation
    Mix just
    as for Plain Pastry except resift the 2 kinds of flour
    and
    salt
    together.
    Stir
    the
    bran
    back into the sifted mixture.
    Makes 1 double crust or 2 single pie crusts.
