Chocolate Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. cocoa
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. sugar
6 egg yolks
5 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into large, heavy saucepan.
Add egg yolks and enough of the milk to make a thick paste.
Gradually add all the milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat.
Add vanilla and butter; beat with mixer until smooth.
Pour into baked pie shells.
Add meringue and brown in hot oven.
Cool several hours before cutting.
(Makes excellent chocolate pudding, too!)
