Congealed Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 small box orange Jell-O
1 c. boiling water
1 c. cold water
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained well
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. grated carrot
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
Preparation

Dissolve
Jell-O
in
1
cup
boiling water.
Add cream cheese.
Mix
until dissolved.
Add cold water and chill until thickened
slightly.
Add
remaining ingredients and pour into individual molds
or an oblong dish (use glass dish 10 x 6 1/2 x 2-inch).
Chill
and
serve on lettuce.
Makes 6 to 8 molds. If molded
in
glass
dish, cut into squares and serve on lettuce.
