Taffy For Taffy Pull - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. powdered sugar
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. butter or oleo
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. corn syrup
1 Tbsp. glycerine
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Put sugar and water in saucepan.
Stir until sugar is moistened.
Add other ingredients.
Cook 270\u00b0 or soft crack stage. Do not stir candy while cooking.
Pour in shallow buttered pan. Cool enough to handle.
Take about 2 tablespoons of candy and pull until white and porous; make 1/2-inch rope.
Cut with shears. Makes 1 1/2 pounds candy.
