Dixie Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie shell
1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation

Beat eggs lightly in a bowl.
Mix in corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt.
Stir in chopped pecans.
Spoon mixture into pie shell, spreading pecan halves over mixture.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 350\u00b0 and bake 30 to 35 minutes more, until a wooden pick, inserted in center, comes out clean.
