Holiday Nut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo (warmed to room temperature)
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour (plain)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter in large bowl with electric mixer.
    Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
    Add vanilla.
    In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt.
    Sift in the flour and salt mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Form into balls about the size of a quarter.
    Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes, watching carefully to avoid overbaking.
