Pear Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. pears, peeled and cored
    5 bell peppers
    4 medium or large onions
    1 small jar pimientos
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. turmeric powder
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Grind the first four ingredients.
    Add sugar, vinegar and seasonings.
    Cook 20 to 25 minutes.
    Seal in sterile jars.
    Yields approximately 5 pints.
