Grandma Abie'S Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs
    6 to 8 c. plain flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream together butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla. Add soda.
    Add\tbuttermilk
    and flour alternately.
    Add flour until it will
    not stick to hands.
    Roll thin or thick, cut in desired shape, and bake at 300\u00b0 or 375\u00b0 until done.
