New England Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon, chopped
    3 cans clams, minced or chopped
    3 medium potatoes, chopped
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    3/4 c. half & half
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon; add clam juice and vegetables.
    Cook until potatoes are tender.
    Mix flour and milk to a paste and add.
    When heated through add clams, half & half, salt and pepper.
    Heat to a simmer.
    Let stand ten minutes and serve.
