Sweet Potato Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick margarine
    2 c. water
    2 c. chopped sweet potatoes
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. milk
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    In saucepan simmer potatoes, salt and water until tender. Drain.
    Reserve water.
    Add more water to make 2 cups.
    Add sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg to water; set aside.
    Melt margarine in 3-quart baking dish.
    Cut shortening into flour; add milk and stir only until dough leaves side of bowl.
    Place potatoes in pan with melted butter.
    Spoon crust onto potatoes.
    Pour sugar water slowly over crust.
    Bake 60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
