Texas Pinto Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb pinto beans
    1 can Rotel tomatoes and green chilies
    1 lb lean ground beef
    1 large onion
    1 can tomatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil beans according to directions until done.
    Saute onion in small amount of margarine or oil until transparent.
    Add ground beef.
    Cook until brown.
    Add browned beef and onions to cooked beans.
    Add Rotel and can of tomatoes.
    Simmer to allow flavors to blend.
    use salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve over rice.
