Steak Parmigiana - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak
    1 beaten egg
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    1 lb. can tomato paste
    2 c. hot water
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pound meat to 1/4-inch thick
    and trim off fat.
    Cut in pieces.
    Dip in egg and
    roll
    in
    mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese.
    Brown in oil
    with the onions (both sides of meat).
    Place
    in
    9
    x 13-inch baking dish.
    To the same oil, add spices and tomato paste.
    Add water, stirring constantly. Boil for
    5
    minutes, scraping brown bits from bottom of pan. Pour
    2/3 of
    sauce
    over
    meat.
    Top
    with cheese slices and remaining sauce.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
