Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. strawberry jello
1 qt. fresh strawberries
1 (10-inch) baked pie shell
1 c. whipping cream
1/4 c. powdered sugar
dash of almond flavoring
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch, corn syrup and water in saucepan. Bring to boil; cook, stirring constantly, until clear and thickened.
Add gelatin, stirring until dissolved; cool.
Place sliced strawberries in pie shell.
Pour gelatin mixture over all. Stand strawberries (same size) with stems attached around pie crust.
Serve with whipped cream.
Never had a slice leftover.
