Charlie'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef chuck, cubed
    1 bag frozen soup mixed vegetables
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cans tomatoes, cut up
    2 cans water
    1 medium potato, cubed
    2 to 3 large carrots, sliced
    1/3 c. barley
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. rosemary
Preparation
    Brown meat.
    Combine all ingredients in large soup pot and simmer covered for 2 hours.
